Today, Friday, Dec 12, 2008 I was able to participate in an amazing video conference. I was a passenger on a Red Arrow bus and connected to three colleagues from Athabasca University - and it was all for free.

Over the past two weeks, I have had occasion to test MeBeam.com for free online video - designed for conferencing more than two parties. MeBeam has audio, but Skype has automatic full duplex (each particpant can talk) and this is available without clicking any buttons.
