Website Upgrade

As we move closer to the fall, we at ADETA are behind the scenes preparing to launch a new look for this website. Much of this will be happening live, so if you visit us often you've already seen some of the changes we've made to the layout. More changes are coming! They include tweaks to content, and adjustments to the graphics and design.

Anyone familiar with Drupal knows there are a number of features that may be customized. We intend to do what we can to create a highly functional site for our members. If you have any feedback about what types of features you like, don't like or would like to see on this website, let us know at: info@adeta.org.

Speaking of which, you'll notice our new logo up at the top left-hand side. Thanks to all the members who participated with their feedback during our re-branding process. This logo is a perfect representation of our organization as we move toward building a learning community for distributed education and technology professionals in Alberta. It is bold, clear and engages a wide audience.

In fact, our audience includes professionals from three areas. This is uniquely represented by the imagery above our name in the logo: K-12 (an apple), Post-secondary (a graduation cap) and Workplace (a workstation).

In our efforts to build community, it is vital to inspire collaboration among learning professionals from all three areas to find commonality and to communicate challenges and opportunities. Stay tuned! More details about opportunities to bring people together for discussion will be posted soon.
